Dave Raymond entered Morgan State University from Hempstead High School, Long Island, New York in 1971. After earning All-Long Island attackman honors in high school, Mr. Raymond became the first out of state recruit for the Morgan State Lacrosse program, ultimately obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Studies in 1977 and cementing his place in Ten Bears’ history.
 
As was one of the best lacrosse recruits to come out of the State of New York, Mr. Raymond continued his outstanding play while at Morgan, contributing to the outstanding legacy of the Morgan Ten Bears. During his junior season, Mr. Raymond was selected to the 1974 College Division Honorable Mention All-American team at the attack position. He continued his outstanding play into his senior year by leading the nation in scoring, and being named to the 1975 Third-team All-American Team and to the 1975 Senior Bowl North/South lacrosse game at Cornell University. Mr. Raymond finished his career with 125 goals scored, 136 assists and was at one time the school's all-time scoring leader with 261 career points
 
Mr. Raymond resides in Lawrenceville, GA, where he owns and operates a courier business, RAYCOUR Services, which he founded in 1987. He is active in his local community as a lifetime member of the National Urban League, and a varsity lacrosse coach at Grady High School in Atlanta, Ga, the first inner city high school to field a Varsity Lacrosse program in the state of Georgia.
